Individual Development is a key retention strategy.

Individual development is either organizationally sponsored or individually initiated.  Unfortunately, many employees are afraid to ask for development and most organizations struggle to determine what development is most meaningful for employees, often defaulting to generic, big box solutions, and leaving the specific needs of an employee out in the cold.

Individual development is a key retention strategy. It is a strategy that not only helps ensure an employee stays, but also helps ensure a level of performance and effectiveness that will mitigate the downside of the baby-boomer exodus.

The acquiring of Knowledge, Skills and Experience is well supported in most organizations. The acquiring of the ability to collaborate, build relationships, demonstrate a leader-full presence is too often not.

GrowthSource offers development that is tailored to the individual in ways that meaningfully promote their effectiveness, the interests of senior leadership, and the goals of the organization.
